Ryan Hayden is a prime example of the positive benefits that come from intentionally working to be an inclusive leader. It’s not comfortable, and you will more than likely make some mistakes, but Ryan is proof that it can be done.

When I think of Colin Stokes, I am reminded of the phrase, “each one, teach one.” Colin Stokes is the epitome of an ally dedicated to the movement of dismantling racism. With passion and a genuine desire to be and do better, Colin has dedicated his life to this work while sharing his insights and solutions with others.

Terri Swain understands the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. Sharing stories with her is always a validating experience. She has witnessed the dysfunction that comes with organizations that attempt to ignore disparities. Terri is someone that we can all learn from.​

Kristian Ribberström reminded me that it’s never too late to learn new things and embrace new practices. Whenever I feel discouraged or as if I don’t have what it takes to make a case for equity and inclusion in the workplace, I remember the things that he has taught me.
